Gold sequins, sold-out crowds and a haircare brand three years in the making. Cardi B sat down with Jimmy Fallon on 24 March 2026, just one night before her back-to-back performances at Madison Square Garden, and she came with a lot to talk about.
Selling out MSG is a full-circle moment for the Bronx-born rapper, but it has not been without its chaos. "It is really exciting," she told Fallon, before explaining that the real stress has been the ticket requests flooding in from every corner of her family and friend group. Forty people from her mother's side, thirty from her father's, friends from the Bronx, Brooklyn, high school and the projects. "I'm so overwhelmed," she said.
The Little Miss Drama Tour, her first ever headlining arena tour, launched on 11 February 2026 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. Cardi has been going all out for it. She flies over the crowd at every show, and she does it fully aware that she is afraid of heights. She explained to Fallon that she does it "for the plot," because giving her audience an experience always comes first, even if it means, in her words, "risking your own life." The tour has already pulled surprise appearances from Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, Kehlani and Tyla, and New York was watching to see who would show up on home turf.
With the ten-year anniversary of "Bodak Yellow" on the horizon, Fallon asked what she would tell her younger self. Her answer landed instantly: "Why are you arguing with people on Twitter? Why are you doing that, girl?" She said she has scaled back her time on the platform significantly, even if she has not walked away completely.
She also introduced Grow-Good Beauty, her new haircare line developed over three years in partnership with Revolve Group. The brand is rooted in her Dominican heritage and the DIY hair routines she has shared with fans online for years. Three years in the making, and the timing could not be better.
