Uba Sani resolves 10-year land dispute, offers 704 households plots, farmlands, Free Fertiliser
Kaduna Governor Uba Sani showed up in Igabi local government recently with something residents there have been waiting a decade for: land titles, finally in hand.
The governor personally oversaw the distribution of land documents to communities whose plots had been caught in a long-running dispute between the military and local inhabitants. The resolution brings relief to 704 households, who are set to receive allocated plots and farmlands as part of the settlement.
Beyond the land, Sani also promised free fertiliser for the affected families, a practical addition that signals attention to their ability to actually work the land they are receiving. For communities that have spent ten years in limbo, the gesture carries real weight.
Whether the full distribution follows through on schedule is the question everyone in Igabi will be watching closely.
