Three years in, Sudan is bleeding. The civil war that erupted between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has created one of the worst humanitarian crises on the planet, and most of the world is not watching.
The suffering has not let up. There is no peace on the horizon. The humanitarian catastrophe that has displaced millions and pushed communities to the edge of famine remains very much ongoing. The silence around it is a choice, not a reflection of reality on the ground.
What Sudan is living through deserves more than a footnote in the global news cycle. The people caught in the middle of this war are still there, still waiting, still counting on someone to pay attention.
