PAWA Sets Date for London Launch of New Diaspora UK Chapter, in Association with the Society of Authors
Friday, November 27, 2026 is the date circled on calendars across the African literary community: the Pan African Writers Association, known as PAWA, will officially launch the UK chapter of its diaspora arm at 10:00 am at the Society of Authors, located at 24 Bedford Row in London.
The Society of Authors is serving as both host and partner for the occasion, lending the launch a strong institutional footing right in the heart of the city's literary quarter.
For writers of African heritage living and working in the UK, this is one to watch. More details are sure to follow as the date draws closer.
