A 22-year-old suspect is now in police custody in Nigeria, detained in connection with an alleged cult-related murder. The police have confirmed the arrest and are actively working to bring in a second individual, identified only as Anyima, who is also believed to be connected to the incident.
Efforts to apprehend Anyima are still ongoing, according to police statements. The case points to the persistent challenge of cult violence that communities across Nigeria continue to reckon with.
No further details about the victim, the location, or the circumstances of the killing have been released at this time. As the investigation unfolds, all eyes will be on whether authorities can close in on Anyima before the trail goes cold.
