Rising Afrobeats artist and viral dancer Nelson Amazing has officially released his highly anticipated debut EP, AMAZING BOYYY. The five-track project marks a definitive milestone in his transition from a class stage performer to a proper recording artist, exhibiting a blend of his East African roots and heavy Nigerian Afrobeats influences.
Following a breakout year on the road, AMAZING BOYYY showcases Nelson’s versatility and ear for good rhythms. The EP features standout collaborations, including the rhythmically charged track By Gone featuring Fresh-T, and the sultry, energetic single Gimmie, which brings together the collaborative talents of Fresh-T and Eugenie Nforbinson. Sonically, the project leans heavily into mainstream Nigerian Afrobeats, capturing a rich, energy while subtly honoring Nelson’s Bongo Flava origins.
Before launching his recording career in 2024 with the debut single Ballerina, Nelson built a massive reputation in the dance community. Perfecting his craft since 2008, he skyrocketed to viral fame in 2021 through a viral Washington, D.C. dance video. His magnetic stage presence quickly caught the attention of the industry's biggest names, landing him a coveted spot opening for Afrobeats titan Davido on the Timeless Tour at the Capital One Arena. He has since shared stages with an elite lineup of international stars, including Young Jonn, Tayc, Dadju, Ruger, Fireboy DML, Lojay, Odumodublvck, and Bien.
