Naira Marley and Rexxie reunite on 'Jaiye'

Three minutes is all it takes. Naira Marley and Grammy-certified producer Rexxie are back together on a new single called Jaiye, out now on all major streaming platforms. The title pulls straight from Yoruba, meaning "enjoy life," and the song leans fully into the celebratory, street-inspired energy that has always been Naira Marley's signature.

This marks the Marlian Music boss's third official release of 2026. Earlier this year he linked up with Kizz Daniel on Ijoba, so it is clear he is coming into the year with something to prove. Jaiye, produced by Rexxie himself, keeps that momentum going.

The two have serious history together. Rexxie is the hand behind some of Naira Marley's most beloved records, including Soapy and Tesumole, tracks that defined a generation of Nigerian street pop. Fans who came of age on those songs already know what this reunion means.

Rexxie is not just behind the boards this time. The HitxLab Ng head takes a feature credit too, making this a full collaboration rather than a production cameo. His stock across Afrobeats and street pop has only risen since their early days, which means Jaiye arrives with more weight behind it than a simple nostalgia play.

If their catalogue is anything to go by, this one is worth your full attention.
