Miss Nigeria 2026 Begins with a Beauty & Fashion Fair Celebrating Women “Made of More”

The Miss Nigeria 2026 season opens not with a pageant stage, but with a two-day Beauty and Fashion Fair at the Eko Hotel in Lagos on March 22nd and 23rd, 2026. It is the first major moment in what the Miss Nigeria Organisation is calling a year-long journey to crown the next queen, all under the theme "She is Made of More."

That theme is not incidental. For decades, the Miss Nigeria platform has produced women who went on to lead across business, medicine, the arts and activism. The "She is Made of More" campaign leans into that record, celebrating women whose influence stretches well beyond any runway and inviting a new generation to claim their own space in that lineage.

The fair carries a strong fashion thread too. It will be hosted alongside the Daily Times Young Designer of the Year competition, a platform that has helped launch some of Nigeria's most respected names in fashion, including Folorunsho Alakija. Pairing the two creates a room where beauty, enterprise and creative talent can meet, and where emerging designers have a real chance to be seen.

Rita Dominic, Chairman of the Miss Nigeria Organisation, framed the event as something larger than a season opener. In her words, the organisation is "not just crowning a queen," but "empowering a generation of leaders who will shape the future of our nation and the world." She also signalled a wider campaign to follow, titled "Nigerians are Made of More," which will extend the conversation beyond women alone.

For anyone ready to be part of the 2026 journey, whether as a designer, an aspiring contestant or simply a supporter of Nigerian creativity and culture, registration details are live on the official Miss Nigeria social media platforms. The season has already started.
