Messi, Mbappé, Haaland top FIFA's 2026 World Cup Best XI

FIFA has officially announced the fan-voted Best XI of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, celebrating the players who captivated supporters with their outstanding performances throughout the tournament.

The World Champions Spain lead the way with three players in the lineup. Runners-up Argentina have two representatives, while France also boast three players despite finishing third, highlighting the depth of talent on display during the competition.

One of the biggest talking points is the inclusion of Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha, he became a fan favourite after producing a series of heroic displays that helped his nation reach the quarter-finals for the first time in World Cup history which earned him more fan votes than Golden Glove winner Unai Simón.

The defensive line features Spain's Pedro Porro and Marc Cucurella alongside Argentina centre-back Lisandro Martínez and France's Dayot Upamecano. The quartet impressed with their consistency, composure and defensive solidity throughout the tournament.
