Robert Kabera, a former army sergeant major turned YouTuber and singer, has been found beheaded after seeking asylum in Uganda.
Kabera had built a following online as a vocal critic of Rwanda's president before his death. He was among a number of Rwandan dissidents and exiles who had relocated to neighboring Uganda in search of safety.
His killing has sent a chill through exile communities watching closely to see what, if anything, comes next.
