A letter dated Wednesday, 7 October 2026, from the Zazzau Emirate Council made it official: Isiaka Abdulrazaq has been confirmed as the Tafidan Yamman Zazzau by the Emir of Zazzau.
The title comes in recognition of Abdulrazaq's longstanding commitment to community development, philanthropy, peace-building, and the advancement of the emirate.
It is a significant moment, and one that raises the question of what this new role will look like in practice for both Abdulrazaq and the communities he has championed.
