A native doctor and his wife are now facing charges before a Nigerian court after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission accused them of fraud totalling N1 billion.
The EFCC says its investigation revealed that the couple used the money to acquire two properties located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Both have been arraigned and the case is now before the court.
