Catalyst Press wants to hear your voice. The publisher is putting out an open call for African poets to join a live Poetry Sit-In on Zoom, closing out what promises to be a full week of literary celebration under the #ReadingAfrica banner.
The event runs for three hours on Saturday, 7 November 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM South African Standard Time. For those dialling in from Lagos, that is 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and for anyone joining from the East Coast of the United States, it is 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST.
If you have been looking for a stage, this might be your moment.
