Tenicka Boyd showed up to Lagos Fashion Week and made it very clear she was not here to blend in. The American fashion influencer, known for her polished yet effortless approach to dressing, brought a wardrobe that balanced drama with sophistication across every appearance.
At the Jewel Jemila show, Boyd stepped out in a sweeping fuchsia dress complete with cascading ruffles and dramatic bell sleeves. She kept the accessories refined, gold jewellery and her signature sleek centre-parted hair, letting the gown do the heavy lifting. The result was romantic without tipping into excess.
She then switched the mood entirely for Beverly Naya's Skin Summit experience, arriving in a body-skimming black-and-white dress featuring an abstract zebra-inspired print and statement fringe detailing. Where the Jewel Jemila look leaned into softness, this one brought edge.
And then came The LadyMaker look, which by all accounts was her most playful moment of the week. If her Lagos Fashion Week run is anything to go by, Boyd has a real feel for reading a room and dressing accordingly. We will be watching closely to see what she wears next.
