Burna Boy is heading to India. The Grammy-winning Afrobeats star has been confirmed as a headline act for Rolling Loud India 2026, a two-day festival taking place on December 12 and 13. He will headline Day 1 alongside American producer Metro Boomin, marking his debut performance in the country.
Joining them on Day 1 are rappers Big Sean and GoldLink, plus Indian hip-hop artists Dhanda Nyoliwala and Paal Dabba. Day 2 is headlined by Punjabi rapper Karan Aujla, who returns for a second consecutive year after performing at the festival's inaugural Indian edition in 2025. Skepta, Schoolboy Q, Seedhe Maut, Raja Kumari and BabyChiefDoIt are also on the Day 2 bill.
The festival brings together artists performing across a range of languages including Punjabi, Haryanvi, Tamil, Marathi and Gujarati, reflecting how deep hip-hop's roots have grown across the subcontinent. For Burna Boy, the booking adds another chapter to a career already full of firsts. He won the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2021 for Twice as Tall and became the first African artist to headline a UK stadium.
India is a massive new audience, and if anyone knows how to win over a crowd that has never seen him live before, it is Burna Boy. December 2026 cannot come fast enough.
