Burna Boy has claimed his fifth No. 1 on the Afrobeats Power Ranking, extending his record for the most chart-topping months in the ranking's history.
He reached the top spot for July 2026, adding to a career tally that is more than double any other artist's. No other name on the chart has reached No. 1 more than twice.
The July win also followed his June 2026 chart-topping, making him the first artist to hold the top position in consecutive months.
Three of Burna Boy's five No. 1s came within the 2025 calendar year, in March, May and August. That run made him the first and only artist to reach the top spot three times in a single year.
