A nightclub encounter sparked something. Blaqbonez has shared that a run-in with Burna Boy last year is part of what lit the fire behind his current sound. "When I met Burna Boy in the club last year, I asked him, 'Haffa, when are we doing our joint project?' and he replied, 'Na you no serious na,'" the Chocolate City rapper recalled in a recent interview.
That exchange clearly stayed with him. Blaqbonez says Burna Boy's energy directly inspired the headspace he carried into his latest album, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME, a 15-track project released on October 16, 2026, through Chocolate City Music. It is his fifth studio album, following No Excuses in 2025 and its deluxe edition from April 2026.
The dream collaboration is still on the table too. "I would love to do a collab with Burna Boy," he said plainly, no caveats attached. Whether Burna Boy takes him up on it this time is the question everyone will be watching.
