Bayelsa, Rivers schools emerge champions at MILO Atlantic Conference

Two schools from Nigeria's South-South region are heading to the national finals after clinching top honours at the MILO Atlantic Conference, held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.

The competition brought together nine schools in each category, all competing for a single qualification ticket to the national stage. Only one school per category could advance, making every match count from the first whistle.

A Bayelsa school and a Rivers school rose above the rest to claim those coveted spots. For the students and their coaches, the win is more than a trophy, it is a ticket to represent the entire Atlantic region on a bigger court.

The national finals now await. Whether these two schools can carry their South-South momentum all the way to the top is the question everyone in the region will be watching closely.
