Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has opened up on the stark differences between representing Nigeria and England, revealing some of the challenges he has experienced while playing for the three-time African champions.
Speaking on the High Performance podcast, the Fulham star described Nigeria's national team environment as less structured than England's setup, although he stressed that he remains proud to represent his country.
"Playing for England and playing for Nigeria are very different. England's a bit more strict. In St George's Park or in a hotel, no one's allowed to come in, strict food, strict regime that's it."
Iwobi also logistical issues he has encountered with the Super Eagles.
