At the age of 13 Ayobami Akindipe was laying bricks to earn money. Born in Owo in Nigeria's Ondo State, he completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos before studying law at Kogi State University. By 21 he'd become a licensed real estate agent; in 2019 he founded Ace Real Estate Development. "I didn't have funding; I didn't have backing; I barely had a place to sleep," he said of his early days in an interview with BusinessDay.
