A court case is already sitting in Abuja, and Salisu Uli wants everyone to know it is not going away quietly. Uli, a rival claimant to the Action Democratic Congress governorship ticket in Katsina, has publicly rejected the Independent National Electoral Commission's decision to publish Ahmad Kaita's name as the party's candidate for the 2027 election.
Uli is clear on his position: INEC listing Kaita's name does not close the dispute. The matter is before the Federal High Court in Abuja, and he insists that publication alone cannot substitute for a court ruling on who rightfully holds the ticket.
With 2027 still on the horizon, the legal battle over this Katsina ADC ticket is one to watch closely.
