Thousands of APC supporters filled the streets of Ilorin recently as the party held what organisers described as a 20,000-man march ahead of the 2027 elections.
The show of numbers drew party faithful from five local government areas including Ilorin West, Ilorin East, Ilorin South, Asa and Moro, signalling an early and organised push for the ballot.
The rally was held in support of President Bola Tinubu as well as local candidates the party is backing in Kwara State. With 2027 still a couple of years away, the early mobilisation raises one obvious question: what does Kwara's political ground really look like when the cameras go home?
