The All Progressives Congress has taken its 2027 campaign to Nsukka, flagging off what it describes as a drive to deliver Governor Mbah, President Tinubu, and other party candidates in Enugu State.
At the rally, Governor Mbah pointed to what his administration has done on the ground: investments in security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development, along with efforts to revive assets that had gone dormant under previous leadership.
Nsukka as a starting point is a signal worth watching. The university town sits at the heart of Enugu North and has historically shaped the political temperature of the state. How residents there respond to the APC's early push could tell us a lot about the battle ahead in 2027.
