The Caine Prize for African Writing has announced the shortlist for its 2026 edition. The writers are Gladwell Pamba from Kenya, Melara Mvogdobo from Cameroon, Akinwande Jordan from Nigeria, Yasmine Zohdi from Egypt, and Simbarashe Steyn Kundizeza from Zimbabwe.
